There are five main styles of pleat in our Traditional Range of rosettes and
each one can give a quite different appearance, as is shown below.
It is
the type of pleat which causes the difference in price between otherwise
identical rosettes, since, for example, an Elizabethan Ruff pleat
uses almost twice as much ribbon as a Classic Knife pleat and takes
longer to produce.

As a
general rule only one style of pleat is used per rosette, however
it is possible to mix pleats for special effects and we will be pleased
